Heal, Connect, Nurture – Fiji Yoga Retreat

Why?

A retreat with Sushil and Kylie is like being received in a warm embrace. Embark on a
five day journey to self, guided by their light-hearted, supportive, and profoundly
transformative approach, borne from their innate desire to foster connections, to nurture
and heal.

For five luxurious nights in a tropical paradise, you’ll step away from the pressures of
everyday life, the to-do-lists and the expectations of your roles at work and home to
rediscover a deep sense of you. This is a space for forging connection to this beautiful planet on which we live, together with other remarkable souls on their own unique life journeys. This is a time for creating and strengthening friendships and engaging in inspired conversations. This a time and space
for reflection, discovery and for connecting deeply to yourself.

● Be nurtured by delicious food from the fertile lands and seas that surround our
retreat centre, prepared by our private chef.
● Be guided through inspiring and nurturing yoga workshops, meditation, movement
and breathwork.
● Be in awe of nature that surrounds you in abundance on the land and in the sea.

When we are in the busyness of life, busy with our to-do lists, supporting and caring for
others, there is a sense of longing to carve out time for yourself to reset, to strengthen your
relationship with YOU. When you do reintegrate into daily life, the transformative effects of these retreats
ripples outward, touching the lives of your family, friends, and colleagues.

WHO?
This is equally for a seasoned yogi looking to dive deeper or for someone who has never stepped into a yoga studio but would like to explore the practice under the gentle guidance of two experienced yoga teachers. Kylie and Sushil both have a health professional background and are skilled in offering classes and workshops that can challenge you if that’s what you are looking for or offer support when you would like a more gentle practice.

Yoga is a whole lot more than a sequence of poses. It is an invitation into a deeper practice,
stepping stones on how to fully live a rich, abundant human existence. You will find inspiration everywhere – not only by delving into the physical practices of poses and breathwork, but also exploring life changing yoga practices and philosophy. We will be inviting meditation, contemplation and discussion and looking at the way we live our lives from a yogic perspective.

WHY THE CORAL COAST, FIJI?
The flight to Fiji is just 4 hours and 50 minutes from Melbourne ( that’s right, about the same
time it takes to fly to far north queensland! )
Fijians are known for their warm and welcoming hospitality. You will be greeted with a
friendly “Bula!” (hello), and made to feel like part of their extended family during your
stay. The coral coast is where traditions, culture and nature meet. Blessed with some of the
best beaches of Fiji fringed with palm trees and crystal clear turquoise waters, the coral
coast has a laid back vibe and has a huge range of things to do, making it one of the
most popular destinations, and one of the most beautiful parts of Fiji.
The coral reef is a marine reserve, teeming with colourful fish. (use one of the resorts
snorkels and mask to explore the layers of the ocean landscape at your leisure) Inland of the coral coast is where most fertile farming land of Fiji is located and from
here we will be sourcing the ingredients for your nourishing meals.
Our exclusive resort offers stand up paddle boards and kayaks (these are available to
use at any time at no additional cost ) . You might even like to arrange a horse ride
along the beach during your stay.
June is the BEST time to go to Fiji – there is little rain and your average daytime
temperatures peak at around 29 degrees with a light sea breeze keeping you cooler
Beyond the beaches, Fiji offers lush rainforests and hiking trails. We will offer the
opportunity to discover hidden waterfalls and vibrant flora and fauna.
Fijian cuisine is a delightful fusion of flavors influenced by Indian, Chinese, and Pacific
Island cuisines. On your retreat, nourish your body with a vegetarian or pescatarian
option and yes, we can cater for specific dietary needs. We will be sampling dishes such
as Kokoda (a ceviche-like dish), Lovo (earth-cooked feast) and Fijian curries for a
delicious culinary journey.
